A BIT OF A DRY SPELL …..
Silverthorne will have a stretch of dryer weather going into January, with just a few snow showers here and there, but little new accumulation expected. It will continue to be cold, so all the fresh snow we got last week will stick around. Long-range, we are expecting less snow through about mid-February, then a heavy spring. So don’t despair if the next several weeks don’t produce a lot of fresh powder. We have a great base, and March and April should be exciting.
Since we don’t have anything fresh for snow plowing, Steve will be taking advantage of the clear weather to be out in the loader this week, pushing piles back and scraping pack.
